Surplus and Liquidation Merchandise.
The first thing to know about surplus merchandise is "Why is it being liquidated?" Their are many reasons surplus products come onto the market. This merchandise maybe a store return, closeout, damaged in shipping, recalled or just a product that is not selling well. You should always know what you are buying before actually paying for the products. You may not believe the amount of money wasted through out the country each year on such products. Most surplus i have seen should be recycled or just covered up in the land fill. I do not condone disposing of surplus in the land fill, but until consumers put a stop to buying junky products, most of which are imported, this appears to be the only alternative. Always find out why these products are being liquidated. Then proceed with caution.
